Classses & Red Tents
Red Tent: Full Moon at the Ocean
Red Tents were traditionally a place where women gathered on the New Moon aka Dark Moon, while they bled, to replenish themselves and support each other.
This was their time to remove themselves from men, children and responsibilities.
It gave them a place to get quiet and listen to their bodies.
It also gave them a place to connect with other women.

The time has come to take this a step further.

We meet during the Full Moon and shine.
We support each other in our individual feminine power and discover how to stand as sisters in the world.
We celebrate all women!
It is customary to wear something red (it can be anything, from your lingerie to earrings).
Please be sure to nourish yourself before you arrive (yes, eat dinner.)
Wear layers as it does get chilly!

Please join our mailing list to be informed of our location and times.

October Red Tent
The Red Tent is a space for us women to gather, share, listen and learn. Every woman is welcome.
This month we will look at the power of our words and the way we use them to connect or divide, oppress or liberate.
7:00 Gather, share food & cuddle (time to meet our needs for physical connection & nourishment)
7:45 Reading of "What's In a Name?" Sage's most recent (censored!) column. After well over 100 published columns, this one was cut from a local progressive newspaper.
8:00 Circle sharing
9:00 End - hugs and goodbyes
Feel free to wear red or gold to symbolize blood flow, the moon, femininity and our innate power.
There is no cost for this gathering.
Feel free to bring something nourishing to share with the other women (totally open to interpretation!)
RSVP to redtentcards@gmail.com or text us 202-714-2229 or 818-264-6163.
You'll receive address & directions following your rsvp.
Our space is all inclusive! Bring your girlfriends, mothers, sisters and daughters!
